Juvenile net worth – 2.5 Million bucks!
Juvenile, real name Terius Gray, is a fairly popular American rapper, one of the founding members of the hip-hop band Hot Boys. Juvenile started his professional career as a teenager and soon released his debut album, entitled Being Myself. He gained wider recognition in the late 1990s, following the release of “Back That Thang Up”. Terius’ career slowed down during the next couple years, but in 2003 he returned with a new album, Juve the Great, and a new chart-topping hit, “Slow Motion”. After this release Juvenile parted ways with Cash Money label and landed a contract with Atlantic Records. Since then, he has released two more studio albums: Cocky & Confident and Beast Mode.
As for 2013, Juvenile net worth is estimated $2.5 million.
Terius was born in New Orleans, nearly 40 years ago. As we have already mentioned, Terius’ debut album was released in 2005, with a help of producer Leroy Edwards. It was not commercially successful and only received 2 stars out of five in Almusic. His second work, Solja Rags, was met a bit more positively and eventually distributed some 200 thousand copies. This was Juvenile’s first time recording with Cash Money label. A real breakthrough in Gray’s career came up in 1998, when his third studio album, entitled 400 Degreez, has reached the stores. The album featured two major hits, “Ha” and “Back That Azz Up” (ft. Lil Wayne and Mannie Fresh). During one year after 400 Degreez has been released, it sold 4 million units and garnered 4xPlastinum Certification form the Recording Industries Association of America. By this year this number has reached 5 million. Needles to say, this third studio album added a solid sum to Juvenile net worth.
His next successful studio album was entitled The Project English. Due to the success of the lead single “Set It Off”, the album sold over 200 thousand copies during the first week and peaked at No. 2 on Billboard 200. Unfortunately, soon the sales started going down and Project English distributed just a little over 500 copies. It was hoped that Juvenile net worth growth will recover after the rapper releases his 10th studio album Rejuvenation, produced by Mannie Fresh. For those who are starting to forget about this man, Mannie gained prominence while working withCash Money Records and performing with Big Tymers. Although Fresh is widely considered to be a talented music producer and his fortune is 4 times greater than Juvenile net worth, he could not help Terius to regain his former popularity. All five Juvenile’s songs produced by Mannie, including “Rejuvenation”, “Fall back” and “Toast to the good life” failed to chart. Nearly one year after release, Rejuvenation has sold less than 5 thousand copies.
